Sensory and Edible Bush Tucker Garden

At Kiddies on First the educators view our sensory and edible bush tucker  garden as a learning centre. We are now growing Sea Celery, Davidson Plums and other Indigeneous herbs amongst other veges! In the garden children engage in science, nature and mathematical exploratory experiences. Children have the opportunity to turn, dig, and cultivate soil. Children are able to watch their garden grow and harvest their vegetables. The children are also able to examine the living creatures in the garden such as earthworms.
